Tapered outfits of black and white, bell shaped cloaks, plasticized belts, and oversized cardigans took over the Phillip Lim Showroom last Tuesday in New York. Lim’s inspiration for his Fall 2012 collection stemmed from the idea of a modern-day superhero. After seeing the collection, I would have to agree that wearing any of Lim’s ‘modern day armor’ would perfectly equip any woman to take on the world.
