Paula Parrish has remixed the basic images of her photography and experimented with some creative photoshop skills by coloring and adding textures to them. The New York-based photographer plays with projections. She prints and mounts then re-shoots or
My favorite designer, Martin Margiela just launched their perfume site, faithful to his original codes: “back to basics”, he reinterprets the data-processing language of the beginnings of the Internet by proposing to the viewer an initiatory discovery of the
I’m loving pretty much every single piece, throughout designer James Long’s SS 2011 Collection. Long brings out splash paint and knits with a beautiful color palette. I wish we could buy some cool designer pieces like this in the US, but unfortunately it’s only in UK and Japan!

Sixties/Art Deco style continues to be the guiding light throughout Holly Fulton’s SS 2011 Collection. Under his recently adopted and lengthy title, Mark Ronson & The Business Intl.–the man with the Midas touch–is back. His newest studio baby, Record Collection, has been born as a prodigy with hot, make-your-booty-shake blue blood, not so dissimilar from Ronson himself. The album features his ‘Business Intl.” recruits, including: Theophilus London, Spank Rock, Ghostface Killah, Andrew Wyatt (Miike Snow) a Count and Sinden Remix, the infamous Boy George, and Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, among many other complimentary additions.
I love a good editorial video, and getting to use Gisele for a purely aesthetic product is about as good as it gets. Nino Munoz shot this beautifully ethereal video for Muse Magazine featuring Gisele Bundchen as an “Earth Angel”. [flashvideo file=http://trendland.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/MUSE_FINAL.flv /]
