Anthony Vaccarello CollectionAfter winning the Grand Jury Prize at Hyeres in 2006, Anthony Vaccarello worked for a short time at Fendi and has now decided to go it alone with his debut collection. His collection looks like some piece of Art, playing with strong light colors, sheers and deconstruct cuts, Anthony Vaccarello is definitely a designer to watch !

Lotta Volkova CollectionThe advantage of being French and having some great Fashion contacts in Paris is to discover such cool and underground designers – This designer is called Lotta Volkova , she is Russian from Vladivostok. Lotta graduated in 2004 from Central Saint Martins School in London and started her menswear line called Lotta Skeletrix which quickly became popular. Now she has moved to Paris and is working as a wardrobe stylist for magazines such as Dazed & Confused Japan, Harper’s Bazaar Russia, Tokion and Vogue Nippon. Besides styling Lotta (re)launched her own womenswear label for Spring 09. The Lotta Volkova Collection will be exclusively available to what I can call the best store in Paris ( Colette next to it is like Urban Outfitter) : Maria Louisa

Song of the Day : [06/24]Oh Milla, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways…Most people know this woman as one of the biggest models of the 90′s. Others brush her off as a cheesy blockbuster actress. But let us not forget her incredible role as Leelou in The Fifth Element, one of my favorite characters in any movie, as well as classics like Dazed and Confused. Now, here are a couple things you may not know about her: Milla also has her own clothing line called Jovovich Hawk, a collection of beautiful treasures and bohemian fancies. She also put out an album in the 90′s called ‘The Divine Comedy’. The songs are quite theatrical, as are her performances! Watch the video for ‘Gentleman Who Fell’, PLEASE watch her live performance of ‘There aint no God for Dogs’. True 90′s glory.
