With a name to match its location and an artfully crafted menu, it would be hard, and rather silly to forget this à la mode London restaurant. Inconspicuously tucked away in the trendy Soho neighborhood, this cozy and unassuming bistro proves good things really do come in small packages. Its affordable and daily changing menu, based on fresh, local ingredients, brings Modern dash to British food. They don’t take dinner reservations but it’s worth the wait. To avoid it though, go alone and grab a seat at the back counter. It faces an open kitchen, where you can chat up the genial staff and watch the talented chefs work their magic. This is hands down, a new favorite supper spot, and we happen to know a few fancy chefs who feel the same.
